Cool Spots & Wading Pools

Cool Spots are sprinklers on the playground connected to fire hydrants. For those hot summer days, you can also keep cool at a wading pool.

SREC

Summer Recreation Enrichment Camp

Activities include reading and math enrichment, sports/games, arts/crafts, fine arts, outdoor education, educational field trips, and more.

Free Meals

Free Summer Meals

No child should ever go hungry. That’s why MPS works to provide free, nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner at the supervised program locations listed here.

Twilight Centers and Summer Stars

Twilight activities include game rooms open gym, roller skating, movie nights, and other youth enrichment activities.

Community Centers

Every year, one out of every five Milwaukeeans uses our community centers. Our locations are unique. We utilize public school facilities to provide community services.

Midnight sports leagues

Midnight Sports Leagues

Midnight Sports Leagues offer a safe place for young adults age 17-25 to participate in either basketball or soccer leagues, while also connecting them with the many professional, leadership, and life services throughout Milwaukee.

Twilight Centers

Twilight Centers

MPS Twilight Centers offer programming and extended hours at selected schools so young people (ages 12-18) in the city have a safe place to go in the evening. Twilight Centers run programming Mondays through Wednesdays from 5:30-9 p.m. and Saturdays from 5:30-10 p.m. Activities include open gym, snack bar, game room, special events, enrichment activities, movie nights, and more.
