Thank you for your interest in Milwaukee Recreation's Before- and After-School Programs! We provide a safe haven for youth in grades K5-12 during non-school hours. Before- and After School Programs provide varying types of academic and recreational support, including:

Milwaukee Recreation partners with local youth-serving agencies Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLCs) to provide expanded academic enrichment opportunities during out-of-school time.
Milwaukee Recreation works directly with schools to provide education and recreation enrichment activities for participants.
Milwaukee Recreation and community-based organizations to provide young people with academic enrichment, health and nutrition, social competence, and recreation.
Qualified teaching staff leads affordable wrap-around programs for three-year old kindergarten students (K3) in state-of-the-art learning environments.

Milwaukee Recreation is now hiring part-time Child Care Camp directors, assistant directors, instructors, and staff to support our before- and- after-school programs! Wages start at $12 to $20 per hour.
