Milwaukee Mountain Bike, or MKE MTB, is a program offered through Milwaukee Recreation. We are excited to engage Milwaukee’s youth in mountain biking. Participants from all schools are welcome to join
Milwaukee Recreation practices at our Riverside and MacDowell sites to help middle school and high school students learn the sport of mountain bike racing. You’ll learn to ride a mountain bike through the woods, pedaling around rocks and roots on trails. You’ll enjoy the excitement of racing and spend time with fun people.
All levels of riders are encouraged to try the sport, so if you’ve never ridden a mountain bike or if you’re already racing, we have a spot for you.
Those of us who serve in roles with MKE MTB are excited about the opportunities we are providing to student-athletes. We are working hard to actively reflect the mission of Milwaukee Recreation in all that we do.
Become a summer or fall ride leader, a race day volunteer, or a parent who helps with overnight trips. Watching these kids gain confidence and learn a new skill is loads of fun. Knowing you’re part of it is the best!
Contact Bill Koch at 414-534-4501 to find out more about volunteering.
Are you interested in helping out the team via donation?
Milwaukee Recreation relies on donations to keep the team running, which lowers student fees so everyone can participate in the program. If you are interested in a monetary donation or you want to donate old equipment, we are certainly able to work with you.
Please email Andrew Rossa at Andrew [at] mkerec.net to discuss how your donation can help the team. All donations are tax deductible.
Check out Serpentijn Art and Athletics products for art-inspired gear to support Milwaukee MTB! Serpentijn collaborates with professional artists to create limited edition products tied to cycling and active lifestyles.
Follow us on Instagram at @mkemtb for your latest updates and photos from the team!
