Enduro Swim

Milwaukee Recreation welcomes youth, adults, and families with aquatics training backgrounds to join us for an endurance swim challenge! Test your mettle in the pool, join different generations of swimmers in friendly competition, and celebrate the new year with this water polo and endurance swim holiday extravaganza.

Please register by Dec. 26, 2024. On-site registration is only available if space allows (payment via card only; no cash on day of event).

MKE Enduro Swim Events

• MKE Mile: 1,750 yards (35 laps +10 more yards for an official mile)
• MKE Three-Quarters of a Mile: 1,000 yards (20 laps)
• MKE One-Third of a Mile: 500 yards (10 laps)

Swimmers of every age can enter one event.

Polo Play

Prior to and after your endurance swim event, swimmers will be randomly selected to play on a multi-age water polo team for 12 minutes. Participants are encouraged to sample a 12-minute polo game or challenge themselves to participate in multiple rounds.

Your swim event is only 30 minutes, but you are welcome to participate for the entirety of the program 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
