Camp for All Kids

Camp Marimeta Participants

Camp for All Kids partners with several camps, including six Wisconsin camps that are open to MPS families through this Overnight Camp program: North Star Camp for Boys, Camp Timberlane for Boys, Camp Menominee for Boys, Camp Marimeta for Girls, Birch Trail Camp for Girls, and Chippewa Ranch Camp for Girls.

Camp for All Kids Informational Website

Number of Years in Service: Over 25 years

Registration Deadline for all six camps: First come, first served pending space availability and camper readiness assessment.

Please note: Camp for All Kids places a high priority on camper and family readiness for our four-week camp programs. The application process will include a discussion with the camper applicant, parent or guardian, and our Campership Program Manager to affirm that everyone is feeling ready and set up for success at camp.


North Star Camp for Boys: Informational Website

North Star Camp develops values by providing opportunities to practice decision-making, self-expression, teamwork, and group-living skills through a variety of activities.

  • Location: Hayward, Wis. (5.5 hours, 365 miles from Milwaukee)
  • Number of Years in Service: 79 years (Accredited by the American Camp Association for 69 years)
  • Camp Session Dates: Four-week sessions
    • First session: June 17 - July 13
    • Second session: July 14 - Aug. 9

Camp Timberlane for Boys: Informational Website

Camp Timberlane is a non-competitive camp offering new friends, great activities, tons of wilderness opportunities, a phenomenal staff, and the best summers of a boy's life.

  • Location: Woodruff, Wis. (4 hours, 260 miles from Milwaukee)
  • Number of Years in Service: 63 years (Accredited by the American Camp Association for 60 years)
  • Camp Session Dates: Four-week sessions
    • First session: June 17 - July 13
    • Second session: July 14 - Aug. 9

Camp Menominee for Boys: Informational Website

Camp Menominee fosters an environment of unconditional acceptance, where campers accomplish goals - large and small - and grow into impactful members of the community at camp as well as home.

  • Location: Eagle River, Wis. (4 hours, 270 miles from Milwaukee)
  • Number of Years in Service: 95 years (Accredited by the American Camp Association for 69 years)
  • Camp Session Dates: Four-week sessions
    • First session: June 17 - July 12
    • Second session: July 14 - Aug.18

Camp Marimeta for Girls: Informational Website

Camp Marimeta’s emphasis is creating a safe, caring, and welcoming family atmonphere to help campers flourish and become strong, independent, vibrant, and empowered women of the future.

  • Location: Eagle River, Wis. (4 hours, 240 miles from Milwaukee)
  • Number of Years in Service: 79 years (Accredited by the American Camp Association for 64 years)
  • Camp Session Dates: Four-week sessions
    • First session: June 17 - July 12
    • Second session: July 14 - Aug. 7

Birch Trail Camp for Girls: Informational Website

The philosophy of the program at Birch Trail Camp is that all children need success, and each individual achievement is rewarded. Recognition is based on objective standards of effort and performance, not on winning.

  • Location: Minong, Wis. (5 hours, 340 miles from Milwaukee)
  • Number of Years in Service: 65 years (Accredited by the American Camp Association for 64 years)
  • Camp Session Dates: Four-week sessions
    • First session: June 17 - July 13
    • Second session: July 14 - Aug. 8

Chippewa Ranch Camp for Girls: Informational Website

Chippewa Ranch Camp is located on a large lake and offers a wide variety of activities including horseback riding, water skiing, a 50-foot climbing wall with a zipline, a high ropes course, archery, land sports, and the arts. The camp is focused on building friendships, independence, and kindness. Through its wide offering of activities and incredible staff, Chippewa Ranch Camp is able to help campers grow into strong, confident, and compassionate young women.

  • Location: Eagle River, Wis. (4 hours, 270 miles from Milwaukee)
  • Number of Years in Service: 77 years (Accredited by the American Camp Association for over 30 years)
  • Camp Session Dates: Four-week sessions
    • First session: June 17 - July 12
    • Second session: July 14 - Aug. 8

Only students from these MPS schools are eligible to participate. Each MPS student may only participate in one camp session this summer.

Interest Form

Please complete the Overnight Camp Interest Form to express interest in having your child attend overnight camp this summer. This form is step one of a two-step registration process and does not commit you to sending your child to camp, nor does it guarantee a space at camp. Once you complete your form, a representative from the camp you are interested in will reach out to you within two weeks to complete the registration process if space is available.
