All programming for Saturday, April 18 will also be canceled, except for Twilight Centers activities on Saturday evening. On Friday, April 17, After-School Camps, Community Learning Centers, and Safe Places will remain open as scheduled, but families are strongly encouraged to pick up their children early.

Burbank Playfield

Burbank Wading Pool

Milwaukee Recreation will provide play opportunities at playground sites across the city beginning June 23, 2025 (for kids ages 6-17). Milwaukee Recreation only staffs Burbank Playfield to supervise the wading pool during summer hours.

All playgrounds are operated as a “free drop-in” program. General supervision is only provided for youth who choose to stay on site. Milwaukee Recreation's playgrounds program is not a substitute for child care or similar attendance/registration-driven programs.
