Last month, the Burbank staff proudly wore pink to support two of their colleagues who were recently diagnosed with cancer.
October marks the month of the annual campaign to increase awareness of breast cancer.
Today, staff join in our districtwide efforts to support the 2014 MPS Employee's Combined Giving Campaign by wearing pink and donating funds. Funds collected today will support After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, Breast Cancer Recovery and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate.
Our thoughts are with those who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families.
Friday, Milwaukee Public Schools staff across the district are sporting pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month as part of the Employee Combined Giving Campaign. Employees who wear pink and jeans today are asked to donate $1 for ABCD (After Breast Cancer Diagnosis), Breast Cancer Recovery and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate.
