Safe Spaces with Fun Faces!

Milwaukee Recreation invites all families to join us at one our Child Care Camps, located within many MPS K-8 grade schools throughout the city! Child Care Camps, open Monday-Friday in the summer and on regularly scheduled school days, are led by qualified staff whom are dedicated to providing quality, consistent, and affordable child care services.

During the school year, our Child Care Camps staff supervise the safe transition from day school into before- & after-school programming. During the summer months, Milwaukee Recreation offers full-day child care services at dozens of Camp locations. And no matter the time of year, all Child Care Camps feature a variety of activities that provide recreational, educational, and cultural enrichment to young people.

Free meals are also available daily. All locations are licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and participate in the YoungStar child care quality rating and improvement system.

Please note: When schools are closed, before- & after-school programs may also be closed, depending on location.
