Total Wellness program focuses on heath, wellness, & cancer prevention for adults

Total Wellness InstructorMilwaukee Recreation and the Medical College of Wisconsin have partnered to provide the community with Total Wellness, a program focused on health, wellness, and cancer prevention!

This is a community-based nutrition and physical activity program that adheres to the evidence-based American Cancer Society Nutrition and Physical Activity Guidelines for Cancer Prevention. Short-term goals for the program include improved nutrition and physical activity. Long-term goals include reduced cancer and chronic disease risk, as well as improved quality of life.

Spring 2022: Register for Total Wellness


Build muscle, get fit, and learn to cook to help prevent cancer! Total Wellness teaches easy ways to live a healthy lifestyle. Classes meet twice a week.

The first meeting includes interactive fun focused on cancer prevention, your lifestyle (including cooking!), and group fitness. The second weekly meeting is a group fitness class.

Total Wellness is for all fitness levels - we meet you where you are.
