This March, young people can celebrate the exciting hoops season with Milwaukee Recreation! Join us at our Twilight Centers on Saturday, March 25 to compete in a variety of basketball skills challenges.

What Should Participants Expect?
At all four Twilight Centers, staff will lead competitions for participants, including a Three-Point Contest, a Two-Ball Contest, and a Twilight Madness Game. Prizes will be awarded to the winner(s) for each event! Free snacks, such as hot dogs, chips, and drinks, will also be available to everyone.
No registration is required. Simply attend Twilight programming at one of the four locations on the evening of the event. Bring a group of friends or join the competition yourself. All age-eligible young people are welcome!
What are Twilight Centers?
Twilight Centers offer programming and extended hours at select schools so young people in the city have a safe place to go during the evenings for free.
This season, we invite young people to visit our six high school Twilight Centers (ages 12-18) and two middle school Twilight Centers (ages 10-14) in the evening for board games, esports, open gym shootaround, and more! Twilight is open to MPS and non-MPS students alike.
High School Locations (ages 12-18)
Madison HS, North Division HS, South Division HS, Pulaski HS, Washington HS, and Obama SCTE
- Open on Mondays & Wednesdays (6-9 p.m.) and Saturdays (6-10 p.m.)
Middle School Locations (ages 10-14*)
*middle school or elementary school students only
Andrew Douglas MS and Bay View HS
- Andrew Douglas: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays - 5-8 p.m.
- Bay View: Fridays & Saturdays - 5:30-8:30 p.m.
