Week of July 4th hours

During the July 4th holiday week, Milwaukee Recreation's hours for its programs and centers around the community will be slightly adjusted. See below for the new hours during the week of Sunday, July 1 through Saturday, July 8. Operating hours will return to normal the following week. Have a great holiday!

After-School:

• Child Care Camps: Contact individual Child Care Camps for program operations during the holiday week
• Community Learning Centers: Normal operations with no programming July 4
• Safe Places: Normal operations with no programming July 4
• SREC: Normal operations with no programming July 4

Central Office:

• Rooms 56, 162, and 163: Normal operations with no programming July 4

Citywide:

• Adaptive Summer Stars at MSL: No programming on July 4-5
• Adult Sports: No Adult Softball, Kickball, and Soccer on July 3-4
• Aquatics Classes: Normal operations with no programming July 4
• Driver’s Education: No programming on July 4-5
• Hawthorn Glen: Open on July 4 (for animal care only)
• Older Adults: No 50+ Softball on July 3-4

Playgrounds, Community Centers, and Twilight Centers:

• Community Centers: Normal hours with instructors contacting participants if there is a cancellation. (no programming July 4)
• Playgrounds: Normal operations with no programming July 4
• Twilight/Summer Stars: Normal operations with no programming July 4

Youth Sports:

• Youth Sports Classes: Normal operations with no programming July 4
