Pulaski is the location of a sizeable municipal basketball program and the home of the Milwaukee Municipal Orchestra. Swim programs are offered for patrons of all ages. A digital photography class for adults is an example of a class teaching skills used in modern technology. Milwaukee Recreation hosts the Hershey Track Meet in early June whereby thousands of youth compete in track and field events, allowing the best to advance to state and national competition.
