The Hershey Youth Program is designed to
introduce children between the ages of nine and fourteen
to physical fitness. Conducted on both a recreational and
educational level, the program teaches basic running, jumping
and throwing skills on the playgrounds and in the schools.
No special equipment or uniforms are required.

For some participants, the program offers
an opportunity to refine their natural abilities. For others,
it may be the spark that ignites their interest in an activity
that is mentally, physically and socially rewarding.
